All Timezone Conversions
Cron CET to UTC
Convert cron job schedules from CET to UTC timezone.
Timezone Offset
-1 hours
CET (UTC+1) → UTC (UTC+0)
Conversion Examples
To run a job at a specific CET time, use the UTC expression below:
| Target time (CET) | Cron in UTC | Equivalent UTC time |
|---|---|---|
| Midnight CET | 0 23 * * * | 11 PM (previous day) |
| 9 AM CET | 0 8 * * * | 8 AM |
| Noon CET | 0 11 * * * | 11 AM |
| 5 PM CET | 0 16 * * * | 4 PM |
How to Use
If your server runs in UTC but you want jobs to execute at CET times:
- Take your desired CET hour
- Subtract 1 hours
- If result is negative, add 24 (job runs previous day)
- If result is 24 or more, subtract 24 (job runs next day)

Important Notes
- Standard cron has no timezone support - it uses the server's local time
- Day boundaries: When converting crosses midnight, the day also changes
- DST: Consider daylight saving time - offsets may change by 1 hour seasonally
- Kubernetes & cloud platforms: Many support explicit timezone configuration
